P.U.R.P.O.S.E.Union & Unity of the Church

Define “union” & “unity”

How is unity/union expressed in the body?

Union:

Unity :

Consideration

Communication

Awareness

Each part is design to do something for the body. Each part both supports and is supported by another part

Nervous system allows entire body to communicate with each other. Communication is necessary for body to function effectively.

The body is “aware” of its individual parts. This makes communication and consideration possible. You will not communicate and consider what you are not aware of.

Consideration

P.U.R.P.O.S.E.Union & Unity of the Church

Directions: Everyone cut and take a slice of cake.

How can we be considerate to each other in the Church?•Do not take up all the time when talking

•Come to service with the intention of blessing someone other than yourself

•Come to Church considering the needs and feelings of others.

•Come to Church, “I will not be short with members of my Church family”

•Come to Church with the mind set to help (What can I do?)

•If we each consider ourselves, no one will be blessed; but if we each consider each other, everyone will be blessed.

Question: Why did you take the size slice that you did?

Can you think of any ways we can show consideration to each other in

the Church? Think of two and summit them on the contact page.
