The greatest problem in producing an evening'sentertainment such as you are about to be subjectedto, lies in catering for all tastes; fortunately thisyear, the problem has virtually solved itself. In theirefforts to create a new sound, and a new effect, thetop pop. musicians of this country have branchedout into many untried weird-sounding fields, andthis movement seems to have affected the pop. musicof Woolverstone as well. Thus, with a bit of luck, you will hear music ranging from the loud, night-marish idiom of the Jimi Hendrix Experience tothe more refined sounds to be heard on the latestL.P. from the Beatles. Trad. pop., and jazz in variousdegrees of commercialisation, are, of course, includedin the programme, and for all Volume 6 numbers, tomatoes will be on sale in the foyer.

The form of this short play should not be allowedto obscure the simplicity of theme - the conflictbetween the individual's attempt to determine abasis for action, relying on the simplification ofcircumstance, and the machinations of ambition thatuses others as pawns to assert comparative domin-ance and thus to achieve a degree of self-justification.
