COMPANY PROFILE

Founded in Milan in 1935, UNAOHM is one of the oldest manufacturers of measuring electronic equipments in Europe. It was born thanks at two young Engineers, Mr Enzo Pontremoli and Mr Giovanni Bozzi. In the early 60’s the trademark was registered. In 1956 UNAOHM begins manufacturing an instrument dedicated to TV installations, that is the field strength meter, immediately becoming the main player of this sector. All efforts of the R&D division are put into the Field Strength Meter. At present a complete range of equipments is offered, professional meters to thoroughly analyze all TV signals, digital and analogue, also signals of optical fibe distribution.

Activities The company’s activities concern several applications of electronics and telecommunications, they are:

Field Strength Meters and Lab Equipments division Inside this division we carry out development of field strength meters and accessory equipment (noise generators, reflectometer bridges, etc.) for a complete analysis of TV installations(terrestrial, via cable and satellite TV signals).

Radio System division It carries out the production, installation and maintenance activity of professional radio links designed to work in hostile environments, such as off shore platforms.

Equipments for Photovoltaic Installations division This division developments equipments for photovoltaic installations. These instruments are enable to testing and certification according to the European standards.

Services The Company offers several pre-sale and after-sale support, service and help to choose and use the instruments. Moreover, we monthly arrange trainings about new technologies for TV installations, with the analysis and solutions of the critical events. .

The NG 600 is light, cheaper and easy to use. It has an internal battery with running time of 7 hours. The Frequency Converter FCV300 EVO is an external module that combined with a field strength meter, displays frequencies between 2000 MHz and 3000 MHz. The main measurable signals are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, MMDS and others signals in this frequency band. The displays of converted carrier will be into IF SAT band ie in the range of frequencies between 1000 MHz and 2000 MHz. If the field strength meter has the Max Hold function, you can see the random signals (not continuously present), otherwise they are impossible to measure for their inconstancy. The size is small and weight is very low, the power supply is between 13 and 18 volts, it is applied directly to the RF output connector of the field strength meter.
