the beautiful book cover. Adaptation of the first 8
chapters, no poems. Chapters IX to XII are almost

color illustrations worldwide. This book (A4-
format) has 21 pages and consists of the first 8
shortened chapters of the original “Alice” and 4
pages with 7 ever first worldwide coloured
Tenniel-illustrations (by Emrik and Binger). All
poems are omitted. According to the reference-
book “Lust en Leering” (2001) by the married
couple Buijnsters the adaption is by Mark Prager
Lindo (1819-1877).
