• DURA-BASE mats are manufactured without nails which preventsemployees from being injured, as well as flat tires.

• DURA-BASE mats act as one continuous work surface in the field thereforeeliminates the possibility of boards separating and causing vehicle damage.

GREENER• DURA-BASE mats are 100% recyclable high-density polyethylene (HDPE)thus reducing carbon footprint.

• DURA-BASE mats are non-absorbent which prevents environmental riskfrom cross-contamination threats, including invasive species. This allowsfor complete decontamination at the end of the project which woodproducts cannot claim. Wood mats retain contaminants and cannot beeffectively cleaned – only effective method of completely removing the risk of cross-contamination is burning or burying them.

• Our manufacturing process allows for 100% utilization of the plastic.Remaining scrap material is reintroduced into the process.

LOWER – TOTAL COST OF OPERATION (TCO)• DURA-BASE mats weigh 1,000 lbs each and can be transported up to 46 matsper truckload vs. wood mats which weigh between 2,200 to 2,800 lbs, only allowing for 12-15 mats per truckload. For example, to transport 1,500 DURA-BASE mats, it will only require 36 truckloads vs. 100 truckloadsfor wood mats. If trucking averages $500 per load, it would cost $18,000 to transport DURA-BASE mats compared to $50,000 for wood mats.

• DURA-BASE mats have a higher list price than wood. However, whenpreventative maintenance, repairs, transportation costs and life span are considered, DURA-BASE provides a lower total cost of operation.

DURA-BASE®SPECIALIZED FEATURES

• The tread pattern improves traction forload-bearing vehicles and heavy equipment.

• Twist-lock fasteners lock each DURA-BASEmat solidly into place with a single 90° turn.

• The overlapping lip system ensures acontinuous barrier between the ground and work surface, reducing the chance of kick-out and movement.

• The mat system follows surface contoursfor terrain flexibility.

• Each mat measures 8’ x 14’ x 4” thick (2.44m x 4.27m x 10.2cm) and weighs 1000 lbs (454 kg). Small mats are also available – 8’ x 7’6” x 4” thick, 525 lbs. Mats can support compressiveloads up to 600 lbs per square inch.

• The proprietary formulation integrates UV protection and static dissipation.

• Each mat is manufactured with a built-inRFID chip that enables inventory tracking.
