Always work near a phone and keep emergency numbers handy.
Lock all doors and do not open the door to anyone you are not expecting or do not know.
Know the custodial staff and when to expect them.
Do not enter an elevator if you feel uncomfortable about an individual in the elevator.

Require visitors to sign a log and give his/her name and address and the name of person or office being visited
