At the time of his promotion, Larahad a 17-game streak, batting .479 (34x71) with 21 runs scored, 8 doubles, 8 home runs, 24 RBI and 6 walks. He also hit safely in 24 of his final 2games, batting .443 (47x107) with 27 runs scored, 11 doubles, 10 home runs, 29 RBI, 10 walks and 1 stolen base.     As of July 28, Lara led the California League in hits (141) and total bases (243), while also ranking 2nd in average (.353), T2nd in RBI (83rd in slugging percentage (.609), T3rd in home runs (22), runs scored (77) and extra-base hits, T4th in games (102), 6th in on-baspercentage (.413) and 8th in doubles.
