INTRODUCTION Anjuman Hami-c-Muslimcens Anjuman Arts, Science, Commerce College & P.C. Centre situated on a picturesque hillock of Western Ghat at Bhatkal along the Arabian Sea coast is a sight of unique nature tor its panoramic beauty & sylvan surroundings. This is the first college started in this area in the year 1968 as an Arts College, is now a full fledged separate Arts, Science & Commerce College at the degree level & also carved a niche as a post Graduation Centre in Commerce & Kannada. The Management & the Admission herein are governed by the protection embodied in the Article 29 and 30 of the Constitution of India. The college reopens for its Golden Jubilee academic session on 01-06- 2019 Students admitted to this Institution should strictly adhere to the rules & regulations of the college and time-table. They should avoid committing anything by word or that may disturb the unity and harmony in the college and around. INTRUSUCTIONS:1. Read the Rules & Regulations carefully before seeking admission and strictly adhere to the rules
& regulations. 2. Students belonging to SC/ST/Backward community etc. Should submit the necessary
certificates (and their copies) from the concerned Authorities along the duely filled application form for admission.
1. The candidate seeking admission for B.A, B.Sc and B.Com Ist semester has to apply online admission on the website www.dce.kar.nic.in and follow the detaiI instruction about the admission.
2. Application form and prospectus will be issued to the eligible student on payment of Rs.150.00.3. Application forms duly completed with all the information and necessary certificates, should be
submitted to the office by the student in time, The application forms should also be enclosed with character certificates & self undertaking.
4. STUDENTS SEEKING ADMISSION IN THIS COLLEGE SHOULD ATTEND AN INTERVIEW ALONG WITH PARENT/ GUARDIAN (ABOVE TH E AGE OF 40 YEARS)ONTHE DATE SPECIFIED IN THE NOTIFICATION.
5. Admission will be confirmed after verification and approval of the Principal. and the names of the students admitted will be duly notified on the college notice board.
6. Students admitted should submit 5 copies of colour latest passport size photographs, one of them to be affixed on the admission form.

C. ADMISSION RULES 1. Admission is subject to acceptance and compliance of the college rules and regulations by the
candidate.
2. All admissions are provisional and are subject to the approval of the principal, College Board & the University.
3. Admission will be as per the rules laid down by Govt, KUD & College.
4. Students who were denied admission earlier need NOT apply again.
5. No Student shall be admitted to any class in the middle of the course except on official Transfer of his/her parents.
6. In case, the students who do not pay the prescribed fee within the time, their admission stands cancelled.
7. The Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Tribe student should produce the Caste/Community Certificates at the time of admission. All the SC/ST OBC / Minority Student are advised to apply online for Government of India Scholarship and other free ships of various departments, such as SC/ST/OBCI Minority with in the prescribed time.

FACILITIES PROVIDED:
1. STAFF : The college has a commited team of highly qualified, VGC approved, experienced,
competent and enthusiastic Faculty striving consistently to accomplish a two fold pursuit of quality
and excellence.
2. LABORATORIES : The college has a separate science Block and well equipped Laboratories in
Physics,. Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, 10KV generators in Physics Lab & Internet facility for
Computer Lab and a well maintained Botanical Garden.
3. LIBRARY : The college has an excellent library and spacious reading rooms for boys & girls, The
library has books & periodicals pertaining to the courses of studies of Competative and also of
general interest. Besides the reference section, special faciIities are also a vailable for the home
issue of library books, Additional books are also issued to the deserving students from U.G.C. Book
Section. Under a special incentive scheme books will be issued to scholars and outstanding
sportsman. Besides, Photocopying facility and E-Library facility is also available for our students.
4.COMMlON ROOMS : Separate common rooms are provided for Boys & Girls
5. FACULTY ACTIVITIES : Debate, Essay, Quiz, Fine Arts, Exhibition Competitions, Seminars,
Workshops etc. are arranged faculty wise under extra curricular activities for the all round
development of student community.
6. GYMKHANA : The college has a spacious Sports Oval & vibrant Physical Director, indore
games facilities are also provided to boys & girls. Students are encouraged to participate In
individual and team events in the inter-collegiate and other tournaments organized by KUD.
7. N.C.C. : The College has highly efficient N.C.C. Unit headed by Lt. Coy Commander. Students
are advised to join N.C.C. Training which will give them preference in joining certain important
courses of higher studies. There is also reservation for higher studies & employment for the
meritorious NCC cadets.
8. N.S.S. : The College has an active N.S.S. Unit with a dynamic N.S.S. Officer which aims at
inculcating social consciousness, scientific out look, civic sense, patriotism. community service,
leadership training, etc among the students.
9. CANTEEN : Canteen facility has also provided for the students.
(Students are not excepted to be in the canteen during their class hours)
10. EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION CENTRE : It works in collaboration with the University
Employment Information Bureau and help the needy students for jobs and keeps them informed
about various other opportunities. It is managed by the N.C.C. Officer, Student Welfare Officer and
Librarian.

GENERAL RULES:
1. Student are not allowed to carry their mobiles in the college premises / Building. Principal or
any member of the Staff is authorised to seize their mobile. Seized mobile will not be returned.
2. Students are not allowed to attend any unrelated classes except their own.
3. Students should strictly observe class room etiquettes & should not disturb in any way, other
classes.
4. Students should maintain absolute silence in the class room. Any rude and mischievous
behavior in the class room with his/her classmates or teacher shall be viewed seriously and
necessary punishment such as suspending from the classes / penalizing/ cancellation of
admission will be enforced.
5. Students should behave courteously with the Office Staff & strictly adhere to Office etiquettes,
failing which they will not be attended by the office stair. Any rude behavior will be seriously
viewed and liable for punishment.
6. Students should observe silence, decorum and discipline in library.
7. Students are prohibited to disfigure the walls of the college or the desks or any furniture. (Stick
No bills or posters). Any student who is found guilty of breach of these rules is liable to be
punished.
8. No students will be permitted to participate in college activities including sport, his/her
attendance falls below 75%. However 5 to 10% condonation of attendance shortage is given
on medical ground provided medical certificate from Govt. Medical officer is submitted to
Principal. Student with less than 75% attendance WILL NOT BE PERMITTED to fill OMR /or to
appear for University Examinations.
9. Student must observe perfect Silence in the college premises. No student is allowed to stand &
loiter about unnecessarily in the verandah and sit on verandah blockings.
10. Students who are unable to attend classes for genuine reasons shall apply for leave of absence
ir advance in the proforma given in Appendix (A)
11. No student should communicate any information or write about matters dealing with college
administration or activities to any authority or press (Print/electronic medial Internet) without
the written permission from principal.
12. No Student shall join or continue to be member of any association, the objectives or activities
of which are prejudicial to the sovereignty and integrity of our country or public order or moral
values or communal harmony.
13. No student shall misbehave or ill-treat, Teachers, other students or employees of the
Institution and shall not commit any act prejudicial to the interest of the Institution.

14. Any student who is found willfully mischievous or guilty of malpractice o f any nature or has committed any act of severe influence on his fellow students, shall be liable for punishment.
15. A student contravening the above college rules or any other such rules framed by the College authorities, principal from time to time, shall be liable to be punished with fine. cancellation of scholarship, participation in sports, Fee concession granted to him / her. He/She is also liable for summary dismissal from the college by forcible issue of T.C. at any time during the academic year.
The Principal may refuse to issue the conduct or progress Certificate to a student without assigning any reason. The Principal has a discretionary power to issue Transfer Certificate without any enquiry to a student who does not show adequate progress in studies, or who is irregular in attending classes or who misbehaves in any manner in the college campus or class. The Principal may suspend or expel a student for gross breach of discipline. Any decision taken by the principal is final and binding.
16. Ragging of any of the college student is a cognizable under the provisions of section 116 of Karnataka Education Act 1983 and also punishable as per the provision envisaged in the Indian Penal Code.
17. All functions of the college should be concluded before the sunset including entertainment programme censored by college censor board. Attendance of all college functions is compulsory and absenties will be penalized.
18. All India tour and un-approved tours will be treated as unauthorized absence from the college and the participants will have to face severe consequences.

College Uniform is compulsory : Student should attend college in the proper dress as specified below :Boys : (Blue striped Full Shirt, Black Pant, Blazer, Black Belt, Tie and Black Shoes)Girls : (Shalwar Kameez and Dupatta)
1. After admission, every student must obtain an identity card from the library & carry it every day to the college which must be produced whenever demanded hy the Principal/any member of Staff.
2. Identity card shall be signed by the students in the presence of the Librarian.
3. If the identity card is lost by the student a duplicate will be issued only alter ascertaining facts and charging a penalty fee of Rs. 100/-
4. CELL PHONES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN THE CAMPUS.
1. For issue of Transfer Certificate / Study Certificate. Conduct/Character Certificate / Passing Certificate etc. Students should apply at least 2 days in advance along with the prescribed fees.
2. Character or any other Certificates will not be issued to the students unless the Identity card is produced with the application.
3. Issuing the character / conduct Certificate is at the discretionary power of the Principal.
1. As per KUD Rules & Regulations, Two Compulsory Internal Assessment Tests & Home Assignment will be conducted for the award of 20 marks.
2. The performance of the student in Tests & Home Assignments and regular Class Attendance will be taken into consideration for awarding internal marks.
3. If the performance of a student is not satisfactory in the Tests and Home Assignments, Principal has a right to prevent him/her from appearing in the K. U. D examinations.
4. Internal Tests & Home Assignments are compulsory and in case any student remains absent, test will not be reconducted under any circumstances.
5. If the student remains absent to the Internal Assessment Tests, he/she will fined to the extent of Rs. 100/- per subject. In worst case, as decided by Principal candidates will be not allowed to fill the K.U.D examination OMR forms.
6. Subject wise attendance will be submitted by the concerned Professor in the First week of every month and will be discussed in College Board meeting to decide the eligibility or the student for filing OMR Forms and to allow them apear for K.U.D Examination.

1. Students should note that they become eligible to appear for university Examination only if they fulfill the conditions regarding the class room attendance in tests / tutorials. AS PER K.U.D RULES MINIMUM ATTENDANCE REQUIRED IN EVERY SUBJECT IS 75%
2. Shortage of attendance amounts to restraining the students from tilling OMR sheet and/or appearing for the KUD examination and also participation in sports, co-curricular & extra Curricular activities.
1. Students selected for different games and events have to attend compulsorily the coaching and practice sessions as per the direction of physical Director.
2. The Physical Director of the College Gymkhana will select the Captain of the team on the basis or the Qualities such as merit, behavior, performance and sportsmanship. The decision taken by the Physical Director in consultation with Principal will be final & binding.
