AFRICAN BEADING

WORKSHOP

Saida is one of our many talented entrepreneurs here at SisterWorks. Originally from Rwanda, she lived in a number of different refugee camps before coming to Australia. Through SisterWorks, she was able to expand her business by selling her products in markets and in SisterWorks shops. She is very excited to be able to share her skills and African culture through these workshops. Saida says: “I decided to start teaching because I want to help people learn and to share my designs with others. Beading is like meditation for me. When I’m beading, I only focus on the beads and I relax”.
