For April 3-4, 2010 A Family Perspective by Bud Ozar

In todays gospel Mary Magdalene confesses she did notknow what happened to Jesus. Every relationship is heldtogether by hope and trust in the other, because, like MaryMagdalene, we just dont know. Easter continues wheneverwe accept the uncertainty in our relationships and joyfully livethe present moment in hope and trust. Alleluia.

Project Rice Bowl Easter SundayThe Risen Christ gives all people a new hope. It is truly a timefor rejoicing. Our efforts with Catholic Relief ServicesOperation Rice Bowl have also given hope and new chances tomany of our sisters and brothers throughout the world. Eventhough our Lenten journey is over, our solidarity with the poor

needs to continue all year long. Visit crs.org to stay connectedwith the Churchs work on behalf of those in need around theworld. Please turn in Operation Rice Bowls.

Olive Wood Religious Items: Last February, our brothers andsisters representing the Christian Catholic Families ofBethlehem were at both churches selling Crucifixes, religiousart work, and rosariesall made of olive wood which is nativeto Israel and Bethlehem. Unfortunately, they chose the

weekend that was the firs of many huge snowfalls that monthand very few people attended. Because of that, they requestedand I agreed that they can come back a second time. They wilbe at both churches on Easter Sunday. Since tourism hasgreatly depleted, Christian families in the Holy Land whodepend on tourists, have been greatly affected. Sale of thesegoods will help them very much and also give you the

opportunity to have something authentic from the Holy

Land. Please browse and buy some articles. It is for a goodcause and also a help to your personal devotion. Their websiteis www.bcmission.com. Fr. John.

Holy Name Society meeting is the second Wednesday of ever
