INTRODUCTION
Swati Halady - is a Manager in Capgemini's SAP Transformation Services practice and is based in Dallas.
Ms. Halady has over 14 years of experience in application development and industry solutions, including 10 yearsof SAP global implementation experience. Swati's SAP experience focuses on SAP BI (Retail, POS DM, AFS,Manufacturing and Human Resources) and SAP HCM (US and Canada Payroll). She has been involved with 12 fulllifecycle implementations and led teams to deliver 6 of them. She has also managed and led teams to upgrade BI7.0 to 7.3 along with BWA and BO Explorer.
Prior to her SAP experience, Swati worked as a Java developer and is a Sun Certified Developer. A dynamicpersonality, she balances work to give back to the community and is on the board of Asha for Education a nonprofitorganization supporting educational needs of several schools in the most rural part of India.
Adam Rench- is the Business Intelligence Retail Manager for Fossil based in Dallas, TX.
Mr. Rench has over 4 years experience in the Retail Industry with a background in the Pharmaceuticals. Adam's SAPexperience focuses on Retail BI initiatives including SAP BW, SAP Business Objects and implementing such solutions
as Integrated Planning, mobility, and SAP Retail and Finance.
Mr. Rench has previously worked for SAP Americas as an SAP BW Education Consultant and also in thePharmaceuticals industry in the Chicagoland area at Abbott Laboratories and Hospira Worldwide.

TESTING APPROACH
Testing as a critical task during Upgrade. Testing Phases included:
Unit Testing : Test each and every object, data loads, custom solutions,designs.
Integration Testing: Enterprise level testing of all objects, integrating systems ,processing of data and reports.
Security Testing : Positive and Negative testing , role based testing
Performance Testing : Test of data loads, mimic regular day and week
User Acceptance Testing: UAT was done in two ways:
Data testingData Validation on reports.
BW Functionality Testing Confirm upgraded functionality blends wellwith existing live reporting system.
The testing phases are intended to:
Identify defects in the upgraded system
Ensure the performance of the system is acceptable to the business
Confirm that any additions/modifications for the proposed system donot adversely impact the current production functionality.
Decision making by business is not impacted.
