Hebrews 3:1–6

Back Story

  God has spoken

 by His Son 1:1–2

  The Son is

superior to angels 1:3–14

  So don’t drift away

 by neglecting such

a great salvation 2:1–4

  The Son had to become

man to redeem mankind

(and not angels) 2:5–18

He is able

to come to the aid ofthose (all of mankind)

who are tempted

  Miriam and Aaron questionedMoses’ unique position; the

Lord acted on Moses’ behalf.

  If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make Myselfknowned to him in a vision; Ispeak to him in a dream.

  Not so with My servant Moses;he is faithful in all My house.

  I speak with him face to face;plainly, not in dark sayings.

 Why did not you fear to speakagainst My servant Moses?

  The Lord struck Miriam withleprosy.
