From the Heart of the Members
We praise and thank the Lord for giving us in CBBC a pastor according to His heart in your person, Dr. Ed. For more than three decades, our God has been so graciously equipping you as you continually feed us with the knowledge and understanding of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
Today, we remember God’s marvellous works in your life, that in 58 years He has never failed you; thus, bringing you to the fruitfulness and fulfilment of His purpose in you. As this year, too, marks your 40th year in the ministry, we thank Him for granting us a model who uplifts the men to exercise biblical leadership; a men-tor who never ceases to teach the importance of involvement in the carrying out of the Great Commission; and a motivator, who encourag-es us to be steadfast in the service of the Lord, though trials and tempests may come.
With our hearts united in honouring God for your life surrendered to Him, we greet you a very Happy Birthday. Our support through prayers and labour are with you as you con-tinue glorifying God by abiding in His Word and advancing in the furtherance of the Gospel. We love you, Pastor!!!

CBBA’S SCHOOL YEAR 2012-13 VICTORIOUSLY CULMINATED
Steadfast in its goal to train future Christian leaders, the CBBA culminated a great school year 2012-13 with a Banquet Fellowship last April 15 and a Graduation Ceremony on the succeeding day, April 16. It was a blessing to the attending staff, students, family and friends that both events showcased the product of Bible principles in the Christian training of 80 students academically and practically. Expounding on the theme, “Continue Thou” based on II Tim. 3:14, the speaker of both events, Pastor Arnold Vallejo of CBBC, Los Baños, gave a very candid and challenging exhortation on the importance of continuing in partnership to the vocation of training the next generation in the way they should go as Prov. 22:6 asserts.
The Commencement Rites promoted two ABC's of ACE pupils to the Learning Center. Meanwhile, four high school graduates were given by our beloved Pastor Ed a first-ever "Charge to High School Graduates." Our Christian School is truly persevering to fulfill God’s will by His grace and power to produce “graduates truly surrendered to and equipped in the service of God in whatever vocation God has called them to perform.”
BACCALAUREATE SERVICE FOR COLLEGE GRADUATES VICTORIOUSLY HELD
“But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Such was the verse from Job 23:10, which was emphasized by Dr. Ed M. Laurena in his message during the Baccalaureate Service for graduating college students held on April 19 at the 2nd floor of CBBC Administration Building. The said event, bearing the theme, “Through It All” based on Isaiah 43:2, aimed to celebrate God’s wonderful work and victorious guidance in the lives of the collegians who succeeded in finishing their courses by the grace and power of the Lord, midst the rigors, challenges, demands and difficulties of college life.
The occasion was hosted by the Sunday School College Department, and was enjoyed by almost 60 attendees, including 12 students from Baptist Heritage Bible College (BHBC) and 10 from other colleges and universities, as well as parents and guests. One of the highlights of the night’s event was the awarding of certificates of participation given to all the graduating students who involved in church activities, certificates of recognition given to those students with ministries, and the highly esteemed Pastor’s Award given to two exemplary students – one from the Bible school and one from a secular school.
