Joan Blond

I n t r o d u c i n g . . .

Joan draws much of her inspiration for her

beautifully patterned and vibrant pieces from

her surrounding landscapes of Yellingbo in the

Yarra Ranges.

After dabbling in painting on the side of

working as a legal secretary, Joan took the leap

into a full time practice in 2017 as interest for

her works increased exponentially.

Fast forward to now and we can’t seem to

hold on to an artwork from Joan for long

enough! We love how they bring life and

complement the modern interior space.

“There’s a sense of balance, of visual harmony that settles upon a finished work.

The quote by Lenoard Koren sums it perfectly - "Pare down to the essence, but don't remove the poetry." Thats what Im

striving for. I like the paintings to look like they’ve mostly created themselves.”

-Amica Whincop

Amica Whincop is an Australian abstract artist, recognised for her

undulating ‘stone’ like forms which float gently around the canvas.

Predominantly influenced by the intricacies of nature, its fragility and strength, there is something

simultaneously tranquil and passionate about the pieces she creates.

Tiffany Kingston

I n t r o d u c i n g . . .

A passion for art, along with formal design training, saw Tiffany work for 15 years as a freelance commercial artist and design-er. Tiffany became renowned for stunning mural art, public projects and designing creative concepts for business.

The inspiration for her art has always been to represent nature’s intrinsic beauty as a visual dialogue but more importantly to be a voice for the environment. Her first series of artworks was created whilst living in an area of Bryon Bay which is surrounded by wetlands surviving within a suburban landscape.

RosettaSantucci

I n t r o d u c i n g . . . My background in costume for film and television and

a passion for textiles – primarily tribal and ethnic

designs – has influenced my painting style.

I’m self-taught, and it has only been

through practice and time that I have

nurtured my style. I grew up in the Barossa

Valley surrounded by vineyards and wide

open spaces, and in so doing, developed a

deep concern with natural forms connected

to life – plants, bones, feathers, hills,

trees, stones and water. More and more

I realise that my paintings are a path of

self-discovery and an expression of life’s

experiences. As an artist, I understand that

nature and life have a lot to offer.

“Small dots and markings represent nature’s gifts from the elements...”

Katie EraserFor Narrm-based contemporary artist Katie Eraser, emotion is at the core of how art conveys our experience of being in the world. Her work is strewn with private and embodied expressions of lust, loss, and longing, which speaks to her lived experience, and queer ideology.

It is in the desire of her marks, and the passion of the colours, that we can proclaim the freedom to celebrate the intensity and complexity of queer love, queer life and ultimately the undulating journey of being loud and being seen. The viewer is drawn into a world of sensations and emotions playing out in space, across medi-ums of painting, textile and sculpture.

looking at the familiar in a

new way so that we never tire

of these things but instead find

pleasure in them...”

Ann Neagle

I n t r o d u c i n g . . .

Ann’s working life was a life of fashion,

texture and colour. She owned and ran 10

fashion outlets in the main towns of South

Australia. This is where her appreciation for

colours and textures grew. Ann went on to

study drawing and painting at the Adelaide

Central School of Art for two years in 2015

and 2016. She also spent some time painting

with the artist Louise Feneley in 2017,

through whom she learned that all paintings

are a collection of abstract shapes. In 2018,

Ann completed an online course with

Nicholas Wilton called Art2Life, which she

considers a life/art changing decision.
