The story of fascination begins with the invention of holography
and continues at the Institute of Light and Construction Tech-
nology at Cologne Technical University. This is where Professor
Jörg Gutjahr investigated and researched light deflection on the
basis of Holographic Optic Elements (HOE). The result is a tech-
nology that fascinates people on all continents: the holographic
projection screen HoloPro™. The businessman Kurt-Werner
Gahrens was the first to recognise the multitude of chances this
innovation had to offer and in 1999 founded G+B pronova
GmbH, the company that has been continuously developing
and presenting HoloPro™ all over the world ever since.
Fascination lives...

HoloPro™ world-wide and references
HoloPro™, the intelligent, innovative way to inform and
fascinate visitors and guests, to communicate important
knowledge in a lively manner and present messages interest-
ingly. In brilliant, detailed, high-contrast pictures, in transparent
surfaces and in broad daylight. At any public viewing points,
indoors or outdoors, in conference rooms and at fair stands, in
reception halls and museums.

HoloPro™ screens are available in many standard sizes andspecial individual formats. The maximum screen size is250 cm x 600 cm (float glass, several pieces of film placedtogether), in 4:3, 16:9 or any other format you may require. HoloPro™ films can, of course, also be embedded in specialglass or manufactured as HoloPro™ projection foil.
EXTRA BRILLIANT, EXTRA WIDE:
Fascination in all dimensions.
The patented HoloPro™ technology gives the viewer a whole new experience in
seeing pictures: lively pictures, photos or screen designs take on new fascination with
their sharpness and contrast. Every projection screen has the latest NdYAG illumina-
ting millions of tiny holographic optical elements (HOE) and projecting them onto an
extremely high-resolution film that is, after development, embedded into glass under
high pressure. The directional selectivity of the holograms guarantees that the
pictures projected onto the transparent screen reach the observer. This is how
HoloPro™ projection screens, which are well protected in high-quality composite
safety glass, offer superb picture quality even in broad daylight.
Transparency is one of the
most important characteristics
of HoloPro™:
The projected picture is
generated on a clear glass
screen that remains
transparent. Because the
picture is only visible in the
illuminated places, the
observer has the impression
of an object floating in the
room.
Transparency as a
design element
This transparency opens up
almost limitless opportunities
to integrate HoloPro™
screens into innovative
light and space concepts
as design elements.
For example:
elegant information and
communication areas that
clearly structure a room
without influencing its effect.
HoloPro™ also shows its
strengths in rooms that are
flooded with light or
outdoors – brilliance and
contrast remain constant
even in broad daylight.
The standard sizes are 20“, 30“, 40“, 50“, 60“, 67“, 84“ and 100“Standard formats are 4:3 or 16:

0.2 millimetres – fascinatingly small. This means that the HOEs are smallenough to show even the smallest detailswith impressive clarity. It also means anabsolutely even picture without anydiscoloration – which in turn meansin comparably brilliant, colour-neutralprojections. HoloPro™ sets new trendswith this development.
One small gesture is enough to get the pictures on the HoloPro™ screen moving.
And the user doesn’t need a magic wand either: sensors receive the gestures before
control electronics put the signals into action. This fascinating technology measures
and digitalises the position, direction and speed of very movement and uses the data
for real-time navigation and interaction. HoloPro™ screens with gesture control
attract visitors magically – everyone wants to try it out.
BORDERING ON MAGIC:
Small gestures with a big effect.
Instead of pressing keys, visitors touch thepicture on the interactive HoloPro™screen to initiate the action required. HoloPro™ also makes a big impression in conference rooms. And if you want to provide customers or fair visitors withsome fascination, then take along a HoloPresentermobil. The projection system, securely packed in a case, is easy tocarry and just as easy to set up. On account of the sophisti -cat ed folding mechanism, your presentation can be started upin the shortest possible time via laptop, DVD player or receiver.Brilliant and elegant.
Here or there: and some-where else in no time!HoloPresenters can bemoved from one place toanother easily.
Information comes across particularly well with the smart
HoloPresenters. Those who are interested will be impressed
by both the transparent, living projection and the elegant
design. HoloPresenters can be used quickly and flexibly
wherever an audience is to be reached. Just pack it and trans-
port it, then unpack it and start presenting wherever you need
to: in conference rooms or foyers, shopping passages or shops,
at fair stands or in combination with goods displays at the
point of sale.
There are several versions of HoloPresenter.
They all have a compactdesign and take
up very little space.
BRILLIANCE MEETS MOBILITY:

No matter where and how HoloPro™ is used, the reaction is always the same: people stand stilland are fascinated by the living pictures on thetransparent screen. There are an almost unlimitednumber of ways to use it: for information on dis-play goods or special offers in the shop window,in hotel halls or restaurants, at receptions, as anelegant, transparent room separator, as an ultra-flat screen for sports programmes or as an objetd’art. Etc, etc……
...in protective weatherproofing it can, of course,it can also be used outdoors, at public viewingpoints and for media.
MISSION POSSIBLE:
Fascination unlimited!

LIVING FACADES FOR
TREND-SETTING BUILDINGS:
HoloSign
HoloSign glass screens diffract white light into its spectral components:
richly colourful motifs appear on the façade and their colours change
depending on the angle the viewer sees them from. Individual logos and
designs can be converted easily into holographic displays. The colour
effects are hardly visible from the rear side; the screens remain transpa-
rent and can be used in windows. Two examples of “building art” with
HoloSign in particular have become well known, designed by Michael
Bleyenberg: the outer façade of the Deutsche Forschungsgesellschaft in
Bonn (right) and the “New Burlington Flare/Three Prisms“ work in front
of the administrative headquarters of the Crown Estate in London.
HoloSignfulfils the dreams of
architects and artists:facades glowing withintense colours havedesigned motifs that
change as soon as thesource of light or the
observer moves. This is how fascinatingbuildings arise – living
and exciting, un -mistakable and unique.
For some applications it is necessary to fold the projectionbeam with a projection mirror. In order to do this we offer eithertraditional glass front surfacemirrors or Amiran® front surface mirrors, in which anadditional glass screen protects the mirror layer from scratching.High-quality anti-reflection coatingprevents the formation of ghostimages. There is a specially con-structed ground mirror availablefor floor projection onto a 67"HoloPro™ screen
FLOATING OR FIXED:
HoloPro™ accessories.
There are complete systems and accessories
available as complements to HoloPro™ protec-
tion screens that simplify the set-up and use of
HoloPro™ and help you make even more of the
HoloPro™ screens. The programme includes
everything from holders and projection aids to
projectors and caters for practice requirements
and sophistication of design.
The Floater:This wire rope con -
struction is used to fixthe HoloPro™ screento ceilings and cross -beams. The thin wire
and acrylic glass corners are barely
noticeable – the project -ed picture appears
to float in the room.
The FriStem standsystem is visually
appealing with its easilyconstructible, stable
aluminium braces andhas many applications,e.g. free-standing with
emphasis on the construction or integra-ted into the furnishing
inconspicuously.
HoloStand, a stand system
that can be set up easily.
Holographic projectionscreens require a
projection angle of 37°.In order to more easily
adjust the projector there is an adjustable
projector platform, which can be fixed to
the ceiling or cross -beams with tube sets.
Flight case for thesafe transport of theHoloPro™ screen.
Suitable projectors for HoloPro™ :Basically, any data beamer can be used. The most important pre -requisite for compatibility: the projector can compensate for a keystone of at least 30°.
