Water-repellent base solvent technology Nano-Particles Nano-dispersion of siloxane water-repellent for absorbing building materials. Properties: NANOHIDROF 9S is characterized by: Ÿ High pearly effect Ÿ Absence of chromatic superficial changes of the treated surfaces Ÿ Excellent penetration ability in the treated materials Ÿ Vapour permeability in many treated surfaces Ÿ High alkali and U.V. rays stability Ÿ Absence of harmful reaction by-products Ÿ Nevertheless, we suggest to make preliminary tests on natural stones. NANOHIDROF 9S is particularly suitable also for the preparation of water repellent solutions for chemical barriers against rising humidity or as preventive solution against the formation of saline efflorescences, moulds and for acid rain prevention. Because of its high impregnating power, NANOHIDROF 9S has a good "pearly" effect. We suggest to treat vertical or strongly inclined mineral absorbing surfaces, perfectly cleaned and free from soluble salts and moulds. In case of stony materials of a particular historical value, we suggest to carry out the "normal" recommendation for an optimal cleaning result. It is better to fill the cracks with a width over 0,3 mm. NANOHIDROF 9S have to be applied on dry, cold absorbing surfaces and not exposed to direct irradiation. In general, for the application you have to use low pressure sprayers like "Airless" (0,2 bar), taking care to distribute homogeneously the product till the total impregnation of the material. Before treating the surface, we suggest to test the product on a small area in order to calculate easily the right quantity to use according to the requested effects. It is not advisable to treat surfaces where there are rising humidity phenomena or water comings. During the application, protect glass, wood, plastic and metallic surfaces. Protect the surrounding vegetation.
