Second key featuresAccelerated Period End Closing ProcessesWe have accelerated Overhead calculation and Accrual calculationAccelerated Material Ledger costing run (CKMLCP)In many companies like wholes sale, manufacturing in Asia , the material ledger is basically a legal or recommended requirement and the performance of todays material ledger implementation in systems has impact on monthly end closing process due to all the data needs to be calculated and analyzed. So the improved of the period end closing process for the material ledger is crucial and specially in those country with these material calculation are legally required or recommended by government or in the area where we had a lot of production going on.

The third key feature isData sources and Virtual info providers, these are the technical terms that allowedDirect (logical) access from BW to the underlying ERP dataToday we need and Makes physical data transfer (ETL) of data from ERP to BW to enable BW reporting , with the enhanced data source and new virtual info provider, we can in many cases make the physical transfer ETL obsolete.We have data source and virtual info provider in the area of Profit Center Accounting, New General Ledger, Special Ledger and Material Ledger, with these data source and virtual info provider mechanism allows basically to enable accelerated BW based reporting without a need of BW on HANA using the accelerator

The fourth feature is BW Extraction , the accelerated BW extraction in the case of Material ledger. Most of our customers do not use the existing ERP reporting for material ledger but a lot transfer the data until month end after the calculation has taken place to BW in a time consuming process and had existing reporting take place there . The accelerator here basically combined reading data from SAP ERP and SAP HANA, somehow accelerated BW extraction process. The logic is executed in SAP ERP, BW is NOT accessing SAP HANA directly that means large amount of material ledger data can be transform from ERP to BW in a very accelerated way.
