Due to security protocols, navigation in REWARD is not the same as using the standard browser buttonsstandard browser buttons

Starting the Search Process

Searches can begin from one of two places in the system: The Home screen
— Click on shortcuts in link section for employee, job or structure search (shown on next page)p y , j ( p g ) From the Employee, Job or Salary Structure screens
— Click on the Search icon (shown below)
Note: Fields available for searching vary depending on where you start your search. For example, if you are interested in finding employee-related data
(e g Work State) you need to start your search from the Employee screen(e.g., Work State), you need to start your search from the Employee screen.

There are two ways to search for data in REWARD:
1. Simple Search Use when you are interested in searching for employee or job information based on one criterion Use when you are interested in searching for employee or job information based on one criterion
— e.g., find all employees with a job title of accountant Can not be saved for future use
2. Advanced Searchd a ced Sea c Use when you are interested in building more complex searches based on more than one criterion
— e.g., find all employees with a job title of accountant AND with a work location of New York Can be saved and accessed in the future

Simple Search — The Process

1. Select the field on which you are interested in searching

Note: The search functionality is not case sensitive; users can enter a portion of a word for

Advanced Job Search
BASICS: SEARCH AND FILTER
You can combine criteria into one search process using the Advanced Search Function
1. Type in a name for your advanced search (to save and access this search at a later time)
2. Column: Select the field on which you are interested in searching
3. Operator: Select operator to be used
5. Click on Add Expression to6 Repeat Steps 2 5 until all search4. Value: Click on Lookup
Values to receive a list of all available choices or type in your own
5. Click on Add Expression to build the search expression
6. Repeat Steps 2-5 until all search criteria are entered and click on Search to run the process

After filling in your search name, column, operator and expression value, click on Add Expression
Enter additional search criteria in the expression connector, column, operator and value fields and click on Add Expression
If you are satisfied with your search expression, then click Search This will save your search expression and take you immediately to results
