Duro�ex is now entering its 53 years of operations, having been incorporated in 1963 at a small factory in

the lush backwaters of Kerala. Today the company has over 8 factories located across India and is the �rst

In Duroflex FPS Technology mattresses, the springs are specially made, weighted and arranged across 3 different zones to provide optimal support and comfort for your spine and other major pressure points. The first zone provides support to the head, shoulder and lumbar regions. The second re-enforced zone, supports the heavier pelvic region. And the third supports the knee, lower leg, foot and ankle.It is very important that your mattress is specially designed to support all of these major points to avoid any sagging of the spine which leads to backache, disturbed sleep and at a later stage, chronic orthopedic complications.

Will these therapeutic mattresses cure myback pain?

Let us be honest, the answer is no. Even

though our orthopedic mattresses are

designed in consultation with the best

orthopedics, the mattress is not your

magic cure.

Back problems are caused by a lack of

proper exercise, loss of muscle function,

long working hours, bad posture, etc. An

orthopedic mattress cannot cure these

underlying problems. A well-designed

orthopedic mattress will only prevent a

back problem from getting worse. An

extremely soft mattress or one that has

sagged can make a back problem worse.

Do consult a good orthopedic doctor

who can prescribe physiotherapy, yoga

and other good practices to cure a back pain.

Neck painTry to keep the neck in a neutral position. Avoid sleeping on the stomach. Too many pillows can put your neck in a bent position. And keep the pillow above your shoulders. Some experts sugget using a rolled-up hand towel to support the neck.

Obstructive Sleep Apnea/ SnoringSleep on your side or stomach to avoid the collapse of the tongue or tissues in the throat, which impairs breathing. One way to keep from rolling on to your back is to sew a tennis ball to the back of your pajama top.
