Glaciervan Plus reefers are engineered to protect refrigerated and frozen products,combining the advantages of superior construction with a wide range of qualityblower-type and Kidron’s Vari Temp 2000 refrigeration units.

Perishable cargo is protected within walls containing up to four inches of foamed-in-place non-CFC polyurethane insulation, with additional insulationbeneath the reefer flooring. Glassboard interior walls further enhance the insulation capabilities, and a selection of floor systems permit refrigerated air to move beneath cargo.

Kidron's patented Pressure Pillow Seal™ rear swingand curbside doors seal in the cold and hold out ambient temperatures. A variety of quality reardoors can be supplementedwith curtains to further speed temperature recovery after frequent door openings.

Uniquely designed and built by the value leader in multi-stop refrigerated distribution, the Glaciervan Plus providesquality and savings along with a list of standard features and options usually found only in more expensive reefers.

Engineered for Class 5, 6 and 7 chassis,Glaciervan Plus bodies accommodate various types of refrigeration units. Choose standard lengths from nine to twenty-six feet and four standard heights- the most-requested sizes for today’s

busy multi-stop distribution and rental fleets. Tough, durable constructionGlaciervan Plus refrigerated rugged truck bodies have an excellent weight-to-capacity ratio, which enables them to carry extra cargo without excessive weight in the reefer. High-strength I-beam crossills and I-beam mainsills provide a durable understructure for pallet-jack or fork lift loading and unloading. Stainless steel rear frames and a tough aluminum outer skin resist wear while extending your reefer’s life. One-piece, fastener-free, USDA approved glassboard interior liners allow for easy cleaning. Extruded aluminum floors also feature an integral six-inch scuff band that can be increased to twenty-four inches.

Superior strength with minimal weight isthe result of Kidron’s unique monocoqueconstruction. By eliminating weight, youget greater payload capacity.

Floors are manufactured with extruded aluminum surfaces and carefully welded toassure long life and and watertight quality.

You can customize Kidron’s Glaciervan Plusby choosing from an impressive list of

options designed to increase pickup and delivery productivity on your refrigerated

distribution routes. Choose ramps orliftgates for greater efficiency. Add folding

steps and an aluminum cab walk for easierblower unit access. Glaciervan Plus

models are also available with a full range of floors, doors and bumpers.

Radiused aluminum front cover posts,roof rail and corner caps maximize aerodynamics while reducing fuel costs.

Rugged stainless steel rear frames providea long life while reducing maintenance.

Steel I-beam crossills, three inches high, provide a strong understructure. Beneath the floors is a bonus inch of insulation.

Extruded aluminum floors provideexceptional durability, while drains helpprotect cargo from accidental spillage.

Up to four inches of foamed-in-place, non-CFC polyurethane insulationenvelopes your cargo, assuring excellent thermal efficiency.

Easily maintain an attractive interiorappearance, thanks to glassboard liners,which resist scuffs, dirt and stains whileenhancing the body’s thermal efficiency.

Dairy Floors. Specifically designed for ice creamcarts and milk cases. Two floor drains are standard.

Cargo Floors. Engineered and built with extra strength for palletized cargo. Two floor drains are standard. Slip-resistant surface is standard.

Box Floors. Designed so air can circulate under cargo and keep it dry. Four floor drains are standard. Slip-resistant surface is available.
