10 Installing the Transmission Equipmentof the BTS3012AE

This topic describes how to install the transmission equipment of the BTS3012AE.

ProcedureStep 1 Remove the filler panel and the air damper from the transmission equipment subrack according

to the space required for the transmission equipment, as shown in Figure 10-1.

CAUTIONIf the transmission equipment (including microwave equipment) is installed in the cabinet,remove the filler panel and the air damper to avoid poor ventilation and over-high temperature.If the height of the transmission unit is n U (n is an integer and 1 n 7; 1 U = 44.45 mm),remove n filler panels and n air deflector plates.

Step 2 Install the transmission equipment in the transmission equipment subrack from right to left andfasten the screws, as shown in Figure 10-2.
