3. Simulation of a wireless channel model
Channel refers to the path between Transmitter and Receiver whether it may be wired or wireless.
Channel model refers to the mathematical equation describing the channel behavior between the Transmitter and Receiver.

Channel models e.g. Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN), Rayleigh and Rician, etc. are used by communication design engineer for the purpose validating transmitter and receiver design.

7. Simulation of Speech Coding and Decoding
Speech coding uses speech-specific parameter estimation using audio signal processing techniques to model the speech signal, combined with generic data compression algorithms to represent the resulting modeled parameters in a compact bit stream.

8. Experiment on GMSK modulation
Gaussian Minimum Shift Keying is a continuous-phase Frequency Shift Keying modulation scheme.
It is similar to standard Minimum Shift Keying (MSK); however the digital data stream is first shaped with a Gaussian filter before being applied to a frequency modulator. This has the advantage of reducing sideband power, which in turn reduces out-of-band interference between signal carriers in adjacent frequency channels.
GMSK increases the modulation memory in the system and causes Inter Symbol Interference.
GMSK has high spectral efficiency, but it needs a higher power level than QPSK, in order to reliably transmit the same amount of data.
