In this 2nd part of the summer packet you will find many opportunities to practice and strengthen your mathematical skills.

How does it work?1st. During the months of June, July and August, you can use the calendar to explore math

concepts. Solve each math problem in your math journal to show your work, thinking, and strategies you used to solve the problem. Be sure to date each page.

2nd. A list of math websites is included for you to explore. Use these websites to practice your skills throughout the summer. See how many you can try.

3rd. A list of math books you may find at the public library is included. Be sure to check some out.

Remember! Be sure to have your parents sign your journal.

The journal must be returned to school by Friday August 30th. Enjoy this packet as you strengthen skills and understanding this summer.
