MEN’S PRAYER GROUP SEPTEMBER 18 6:30 AM Men, we hope you will join Bro. Brice here at the church Fellowship Hall for a time of prayer and meditation on God’s word this Tuesday. There will be bacon and eggs followed by a devotional, sharing and prayer. BAPTIST STUDENT MINISTRY LUNCHEON SEPTEMBER 19 Please have all cookies to the church kitchen tomorrow before the close of the business day. Be sure to label your containers BSM along with your name so we can return it to you. Thank you for your support of these students and their hard work! SERVICE OPPORTUNITY SEPTEMBER 29 We are looking for a group of 10-12 volunteers for two hour shifts to represent First Baptist Church as they help the Seguin High School (SHS) Band Boosters, Saturday, September 29 th with their 2 nd Annual Seguin Marching Festival. Volunteers will be stationed here at the church, helping to prepare and box food for the visiting bands. If you would be interested in helping out, please write Marching Festival on the blue serving card in the pew and place it in the offering plate. Your help is greatly appreciated. PRESCHOOL EVENT @ J&R GYMNASTICS SEPTEMBER 30 3:30 – 5:00 PM Join us for this year’s Preschool Family event. We will be at J&R Gymnastics again this year, located at 1307 W Court St. If your child is 5yrs or younger, we encourage you to join us. We have reserved the facility for our members and their families. Play will begin at 3:30 PM followed by pizza and juice at 4:30 PM.

CHILD DEDICATIONSEPTEMBER 30 10:30 AM
We will have a Child Dedication Service, here at the church during the Sunday morning service, September 30th. Christian parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to the Lord to do everything within their power to raise the child in a Godly way. Some of the responsibilities include teaching and training the child, demonstrating an example of godliness, discipline and always praying for the child, all according to God’s ways. If you would like to dedicate your child to the Lord, please e-mail Rhonda at [email protected]. For the service, we will need two digital pictures: one of the child alone and the other of the child with their parents; due by Sept. 24th. There will be a parent class during the Sunday School hour, that morning, taught by Mary Smith, in room 410 in the office Bldg.
