According to Diocesan guidelines for children to receive these sacraments the following criteria apply: 1. Child must be Baptized 2. Parents and child must attend the Liturgy of Eucharist (Mass) each Sunday and holy days. 3. Child must have at least two years of formal religious preparation. 4. Parents are required to attend a series of five meetings and one retreat. First grade parents are encouraged to begin attending the meetings this year if your child will be receiving these sacraments in second grade. Second grade parents who did not attend last year's meetings must attend all meetings this year in order for your child to receive the sacraments. If you are not sure about which meetings you need to attend, please check with Sr. Colette or Mrs. Lanmon. If your child is in need of the sacrament of Baptism, please, contact Sr. Colette as soon as possible to make appropriate arrangements.
