Do you know Shandong University — a national key comprehensive university in China?
One of the oldest and most prestigious universities in China . Founded in 1901, and is the second national university established in the country in Qing Dynasty. Located in Jinan, the capital city of Shandong Province, and covering an area of 3.849 square kilometers. Composed of 31 schools and 1 graduate school. Offering courses in 11 main academic disciplines: philosophy, economics, law, literature, history, natural sciences, engineering, management, medicine, education and military.

The student population totals to about 95,000, of which 40,978 are fulltime students, 10,755 are graduate students, and over 1,000 are international students.

began to be constructed f
rom 1984, is an important
component of Shandong
University, Jinan.
SDUW is located in Weihai, one of the most comfortable cities in China.
SDUW backs on Majia Hill to the north and is surrounded by sea on its east and west sides, covering an area of over 400 acres.
Up to May, 2007, the Chinese student population on campus has reached 150,000, including international students.
The number of faculty has reached 1200. In addition, there are another 100 foreign teachers and visiting professors working at SDUW.
In order to promote the international reputation of the university, to enhance the foreign understanding of Chinese society and culture, and to push forward the further development of the internationalization of higher education and international friendship, SDUW is also making great efforts to increase the acceptance ability of international students.
