Searching the internet for information is often a fruitless task. Set up a webquest, a series of websites linked by clues or through which students need to navigate in order to find the required information.

Data collection
Developing Ideas 9

• video
• audio
• images
• web pages

Virtual Learning Environments
Developing Ideas 10
Anywhere anytime learning. How can students access resources / materials and support to help them with their learning when they are not in your classroom? How can they contact you? How can they submit assessable work?

Mediascapes
Developing Ideas 11
Mediascapes are a potentially powerful way of engaging with the world around us. Using PDAs they offer new opportunities to explore and interact with the landscape in exciting and varied ways. The Create-A-Scape website project aims to offer the inspiration for teachers and pupils to start using mediascapes, and to provide easy-to-use guides and free software to help make mediascape creation as simple and accessible as possible.
