Our hotel for the next two nights in Niagara Falls, NY, is the Holiday Inn. After dinner on our own,we will have a free evening to visit the Canadian side of the Falls if you have a passport. (B)

Saturday, September 9This morning we will visit the Made in America Store. It is the only brick and mortar general merchandise storein the country that exclusively sells 100% American Made Products – down to the packaging. The Made inAmerica Store opened in 2010 and moved to it’s new location spring 2016. This afternoon we take a thrilling rideaboard the Maid of the Mist. The first Maid of the Mist was launched in 1846 as a ferry service between theCanadian and American sides, pre-dating by two years the construction of the first Niagara Falls SuspensionBridge at the site. However, by 1854, the ride became a tourist attraction instead with the launch of moreluxurious boats. After a drive to Goat Island for touring, we will enjoy an included dinner this evening at the Topof the Falls Restaurant. (B/D)Sunday, September 10This morning we depart for Vermont and the Trapp Family Lodge. The Hills are Alive… with the fresh smell ofthe north-country air! Senses are heightened by spectacular rural settings with picturesque countryside colors ofred barns, green pastures dotted with black and white cows. Arrive to the charming village of Stowe, VT andcheck into famous Trapp Family Lodge for a relaxing two night stay. Upon arrival, take some time to freshen upbefore we gather for a History Tour. Tonight, enjoy a sumptuous Three-Course Dinner at the Lodge. (B,D)Monday, September 11Enjoy breakfast at the Lodge before we depart with our tour guide for day of touring around northern Vermontwhile enjoying the splendid foliage and countryside. Begin with a visit to the Cabot Creamery in Cabot VT. Takea guided tour into the working plant and see how the “Best Cheddar in the World” is made. Then it’s on to MorseSugar Farm where we’ll enjoy a maple sugaring presentation followed by a traditional sugar on snow. Then it’sonto Montpelier; Vermont State Capital for a tour and visit through the State Capitol Building. We’ll finish offthe afternoon with a visit to Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream for a tour and tasting. Later, we’ll return to the Lodge andenjoy another savory Dinner. (B/D)Tuesday, September 12Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before we check out and enjoy another day touring through the Green Mountains.Enjoy a visit to the Rock of Ages Granite Quarry - a truly unique place unlike any other! A friendly Quarryguide will greet us for a private tour around the 50-acre, 600 foot deep quarry of the oldest stone on earth.Continue on for a picture stop to Quechee Gorge, Vermont’s ‘Little Grand Canyon’. Then visit the quintessentialNew England village of Woodstock for lunch on our own. Continue on for a visit to the President CalvinCoolidge State Historic Site, one of the best preserved presidential birthplaces in the Nation. Plymouth Notch isvirtually unchanged since the early 1900’s. This rural village includes the homes of Calvin Coolidge’s family andneighbors, a general store, church, cheese factory and the 1924 Summer White House office. Later today, we’llcheck into the Mountain Top Inn for a relaxing night’s stay. Enjoy the Inn’s spectacular views of the GreenMountain National Forest and Lake.
