WINTER REPORT 2018 The 2018th Year of our Lord is a great time to be a Christian as we witness events like the 70th anniversary of the modern State of Israel and the US President’s bold declaration of Jerusalem as her capital! May our vision be renewed and our resolve deepened to be more about the hope of His coming, the advancement of His kingdom and the manifestation of His glory than ever before in our lives and ministries! Our Christmas Sunday service was full to overflowing where Pastor Magnai preached a powerful gospel message and several responded to the invitation. The following week, we traveled to the capital to purchase supplies for the ongoing renovation of the leadership training facility. There, we attended a New Year’s service where several of our college students attend church while studying in the city. What a blessing to be there as one of our girls, who now plays the piano for their congregation and teaches Sunday School to their children, received two special awards from the Pastor; one for her faithful service and the other for her consistent devotion to reading God’s Word. There is no greater joy than to see our village young people along with our own children walking in truth! We appreciate you holding them up in prayer as they pursue the Lord and His perfect will for their lives. We are especially excited about the progress being made in this year’s publishing projects. The Mongolian Old Testament translation is steadily moving forward under Jason Ritchie’s capable leadership and we are preparing The Roots of Faith curriculum for our pioneer missions school that is set to launch before the close of this term. Pictured left is an example page of one of the New Testament lessons in this well written and beautifully illustrated course, designed to equip believers and establish strong churches. The revised, full-color version of the Mongolian Good and Evil Book, pictured right, is getting ready to go to press this month. These are just two of the great tools God is supplying for evangelism and discipleship in Mongolia. One of our supporting churches custom built a heavy duty, off-road trailer to help us distribute the thousands of pieces of gospel literature to the far corners of this remote region! We cannot thank you enough for your steadfast prayers and all the many ways you support the work. May God richly bless you, your families, churches and communities throughout the New Year!
