Windows Live Account for Data Sharing

Windows live is a data sharing platform which is capable of hosting 25 GB of data. It is a possibility for the AlpWaterScarce project members to share data

e.g. for visualisation purposes. Thus, emails with large attachments and respective bounces should not be the case any more.

Why SkyDrvive on Windows Live Platform (WLP)?

Allows exchange of data with a maximum of 50 MB file size

Free space up to 25 GB Avoid large emails with high bounce

Passwort

A strong password is one that's difficult for others to determine by guessing or by using automated programs. A strong password: Contains seven to sixteen characters. Uses three of the following four types of characters:

Uppercase letters (A, B, C). Lowercase letters (a, b, c). Numerals (1, 2, 3). Special characters (` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + - = { } | [ ] \ : " ; '

< > ? , . /) .

Your password can't contain: Spaces or non-English characters. The portion of your e-mail address before the @ symbol.

The menu

The menu (marked in red) provides an overview of all services. Please go to `Profile‘ and enter your personal profile.

You can also select the language that you want to use throughout Windows Live. Go to ‘Options’, select ‘Language’ and your preferred Windows Live language.
