SAND-SHOEING for Persons with and without Intellectual Disability
香港特殊奧運會SPECIAL OLYMPICS HONG KONG
Project Summary
This project aims to establish a Talent Identification Protocol for Hong Kong Special Olympics (HKSO), the sole agency for providing sports to athletes with intellectual disability. HKSO is having difficulties in searching potential athletes since there is no systematic mechanism for talent identification. Through introducing a relatively new sport, sand-shoeing, to both students with and without Intellectual Disability, the project will deliver Sand-shoeing Training Program (STP) and Conditioning Program (CP) using the protocol.
