Get outside as soon as possible. Don’t stop to take along your things. Don’t try to fight a big fire alone. Call for the fire brigade (995).

If fire or heavy smoke is blocking your door, shut it, and shout for help out of the window.

If smoke is making you cough, crawl along the floor.

Have a planned meeting place outside for your family. You’ll know very quickly if anybody is missing.
