METAL SECTION / COLD ROLLED FORMED SECTION

STEEL WORLD "Z" and "C" sections are accurately roll-formed from steel coils to provide efficient, lightweight, economical roofing and cladding support systems for framed structures. All sections are manufactured on state of the art cold roll forming facility.

APPLICATION

STEEL WORLD "Z" Sections can be used over single spans, un-lapped continuous and lapped continuous spans in multi-bay buildings. Lapped continuous spans result in a considerable capacity increase in the system.

STEEL WORLD "C" Sections may be used in single spans and un-lapped continuous spans in multi-bay buildings. "C" sections are ideals as eave struts. "C" sections cannot be lapped.

STEEL WORLD provides three types of corrosion protected steel for roof and wall cladding application * Pre-painted Galvanized steel (Zinc Coated Steel)* Pre-painted Galvalume Steel (Zinc-Aluminum alloy coated steel)* Bare Galvalume Steel (Zinc-Aluminum alloy coated steel)

Galvanized Steel: Zinc metallized coating can provide corrosion protection in Rural and Urban areas. Atmospheric conditions will not rust steel protected by a Zinc metallized coating. Therefore, a Zinc metallized coating does not distort the shape of the steel nor it will affect its metallurgical structure. If the product is scratched and the base metal is revealed, Zinc will scarifies itself and protect the exposed area until it is consumed entirely.

Galvalume Steel: Zinc-Aluminium alloy coating gives corrosion resistance and superior heat reflectivity. Galvalume steel reflects a high percentage of heat and can withstand in any weather conditions, without surface discoloration. It is also suited for coastal areas.Bare galvalume coating is inorganic and does not contain volatile compounds that can harm the environment.
