HEARTS...

Midway through the night, a young lady named Britney picked the winner of the new Miss Valen-tine in the name of Milagros Ops-eth from Valencia, California. Bouquet was presented by Jun & Lourdes Onias, followed by sash presentation by Roger & Mary Santos. A trophy was presented to Miss Valentine Milagros Samonte-Opseth by Sam & Lourdes Reyes. The final presentation is the crowning of the new incoming Miss Valentine by outgoing 2010 Miss Valentine Sonia Armedilla. It is a display of a warm and smooth transition from old to the new Miss Valentine. As the night deepens and dancing continues, a group of ladies were observing the attendees. From their careful deliberated and unani-mous considerations, they picked the Best Dressed Female of the evening, Tess Quinahon. The Best Dressed Male, Amado Toralba. In the Best Dressed Couple category goes to Rene & Tarcila Quintalang. All were individu-ally recognized on the stage with applause and approval from the attendees. The night continued on with non-stop dancing till the last notes of the music. For those who celebrated this Valentine’s Day with the Philcen-ter, we thank all for your continued support. Our Philippine Center will exists for you and with the continued community’s support, the realiza-tion of a center we can call our own will come true.

BOARD & STAFF

As we close the month of March, we are just counting the days left for the outgoing Philcenter Board and Staff members. Openings for these positions are for those who are more than willing to serve the community and are still waiting to be filled. If you are desirous to serve, make your intentions known and be counted. Step up to the plate and be recognized and be the bearer of the mantle. Your community awaits you and you can help lead the charge for the next couple of years. The chal-lenge is great and you can make impact to change your community. You can fill and take the helm from the outgoing members that previously served with distinction and created the solid foundation for which to build on, our very own Philippine Center. Your brief service will be for-ever be a part of the history of our people and community.
