Chairperson Schildroth called the meeting to order with the following members present: Smith, Bakker, Ross, and Riekena. Motion was made by Ross and seconded by Bakker to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Carried unanimously. Gary Mauer, County Engineer, reviewed his FY2016 budget and department matters with the Board. Mark Jungling, Custodian, reviewed proposed maintenance projects for FY2016 with the Board. Todd Rickert, Coordinator of Disability Servic- es, reviewed the FY2016 Mental Health, Gen- eral Assistance, Substance Abuse and Safety budgets with the Board. Erika L. Allen, County Attorney, reviewed her budget as well as the court services budget for FY2016 with the Board. Motion was made by Smith and seconded by Bakker to introduce Resolution #21-2014/2015 as follows: WHEREAS, the Grundy County Board of Health has recommended approving an amendment of the Grundy County Code of Ordinances and Ordinance No. 2004-3, re- garding the On-Site Waste Water Treatment and Disposal Systems Rules, and adoption of new requirements for qualification of contrac- tors, and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervi- sors considered the recommendation of the Board of Health, and WHEREAS, a hearing date must be established to consider the pro- posed Ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Grundy County Board of Supervisors that it conduct a public hear- ing on the proposed Ordinance on the 2nd day of February, 2015, at 9:00 o’clock A.M. at the Board Room of the Grundy County Courthouse, Grundy Center, Iowa, and BE IT FURTHER RE- SOLVED that the Grundy County Auditor cause notice of the proposed hearing to be published in the official newspapers of the County in ac- cordance with the County Zoning Ordinance. The vote on the resolution was as follows: Ayes – Smith, Bakker, Ross, Riekena, and Schil- droth. Nays – none. Resolution adopted. Motion was made by Bakker and seconded by Smith to accept and order filed the County Trea- surer’s Semi-Annual Report and December 31, 2014, Investment Report, the Quarterly Report of the County Recorder, and the Clerk of Court’s December Report. Carried unanimously. Motion was made by Riekena and seconded by Ross to approve the application for liquor li- cense renewal of Jack and Arnie’s Steakhouse South of Reinbeck. Carried unanimously. Motion was made by Smith and seconded by Bakker to appoint Angela R. Brown to the Local Board of Health for a term ending December 31, 2017. Carried unanimously. Motion was made by Ross and seconded by Bakker to introduce Resolution #20-2014/2015 as follows: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS that it is hereby ordered that the lengths of the mileage of the several telephone, telegraph, electric and gas compa- nies in Grundy County, Iowa, and the assessed value and taxable value thereof, be according to the schedule as published with these min- utes and the County Auditor is hereby ordered to spread the same upon the tax books of said county for the year 2014, payable in the fiscal year 2015/2016. The vote on the resolution was as follows: Ayes – Smith, Bakker, Ross, Riek- ena, and Schildroth. Nays – none. Resolution adopted. Motion was made by Riekena and seconded by Smith to reduce the FY2016 salary recom- mendations made by the County Compensation Board for elected officials by 30% and to make no change to the amount each non-union em- ployee contributes toward the health insurance premium. The FY2016 salaries for the elected officials will be: County Attorney $58,026.95, County Auditor $54,186.86, County Recorder $54,186.86, County Treasurer $54,186.86, County Sheriff $76,533.66, and County Super- visors $24,424.90. The vote on the motion was as follows: Ayes: Smith, Bakker, Riekena and Schildroth. Nays – Ross. Carried 4-1. BOARD OF SUPERVISORS PROCEEDINGS The Grundy County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on January 26, 2015, at 9:00 A.M. Chairperson Schildroth called the meeting to order with the following members present: Smith, Bakker, Ross, and Riekena. Motion was made by Ross and seconded by Smith to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Carried unanimously. Motion was made by Bakker and seconded by Riekena to approve Utility Permit Applica-tion No. 01-26-15 to Unite Private Networks of Liberty, Missouri, on fiber cable installation per map attached to the application and to autho-rize the chairperson to sign said application. Carried unanimously. Gary Mauer, County Engineer, reviewed de-partment matters with the Board. Wendy L. Monaghan, RN, BSN, Grundy County Public Health Manager, reviewed the Grundy County Public Health Quarterly Report for October 1, 2014, through December 31, 2014, the Grundy County Public Health Annual Evaluation of Programs for 2014, as well as the FY2016 grant request for public health activi-ties. Travis Case, County Recorder, reviewed his FY2016 budget with the Board. Carie Sager, Zoning Administrator and Sani-tarian, reviewed her FY2016 Zoning and Sani-tarian budgets with the Board. Motion was made by Riekena and seconded by Bakker to increase the rates for the FY2016 Law Enforcement 28E Agreements by 3%. Carried unanimously. Rick Penning, County Sheriff, reviewed de-partment matters with the Board. Rhonda R. Deters, County Auditor, reviewed her FY2016 budget with the Board.
