Three grand door prizes, donated by Stihl, and brought by Brady Outdoor Equipment, will be drawn for at 1:45 pm outside in front of the Museum. Design by Handzon Graphics Vans will leave from the back of the portico at 10 am, 12 pm, and 2 pm for a field trip to the Amazon Wind Farm. Along the way, you will also see constructed wetlands. Tours will last approximately 90 minutes. Suggested donation is $5 per person. All proceeds go to Green $aves Green and Albemarle Resource Conservation & Development Council, Inc. You can sign up for tours at the Green $aves Green table at the front portico entrance near the bandstand, starting at 9:45 am. Seating is limited and sign-ups are first come, first serve.
