Newsroom reporters, you need to remember as many details as possible, as you will be retelling this information to the location reporter so they can go live with a news report

How to write a news report

1. Write a headline, or title, for your story. It’s okay to save this for last if you can’t think of one.

2. Write the lead. The lead is the beginning of a news story. It pulls the reader into the story and makes him or her want to read more.

3. Next, include facts that help explain the event.4. Add details give more information about the event.5. Include quotes in your story. A quote is someone else’s

exact words.6. Finally, write a conclusion that ends your story with

new and important information.7. Once you have finished your news story, be sure to

review your writing.
