INTRODUCE TO YOUR CHILD AS EARLYAS YOU CAN

I learn that the younger a child gets introduced to (reciting), the better it is.

The technique is in reciting over and over again, every day. Once you can get holdof a book with HANYU PINYIN, it will make your job easier. Also if the child istoo young, you don't have to worry about explaining the meaning of eachsentence. The idea is to get the passage into their head at a young age.

If you are just beginning, don't be too ambitious, and try to read the whole book.Start with 1 or 2 pages and advance with more pages as you see yourselfprogress. And if spending 5 to 10 minutes with your children every night, reciting can cultivate good behaviour, good moral values in your children, it is veryworthwhile, don't you think so?

HOW TO RECITE WITH YOUR CHILD?

When you see your child progress well, this can be after a few weeks or days,depending on your child, you can increase the difficulty by reciting 6 words at atime.

If you child is able to accomplish this far, give a tap on his shoulder and say

WELL DONE. The beginning is the most important part. Whether you and yourchild will succeed very much depend on generating interest in the beginning.When a child has self-confidence, he would be able to do it easily.

Yes, it is not easy. But when your child recites to you, it is very heartwarming toknow that you too can do it.

Step By Step. It is not necessary to ask the children to start memorizing for oneminute, close their book and ask them to recite. After many days of repetitivereciting, your children would be able to memorize them easily.

In addition, by spending 5 to 10 minutes each day with them, the parents wouldbe able to recite without the book as well.

I find that this is a good way to spend with your children. Though it is only 5 to 10minutes a day, it is the quality of time that counts.

Remember to give your kids recognition if they begin to be able to start reciting
