WHAT IS A BELIEF?

Is a set of ideas people have about God or gods that they accept as true.

Central beliefs in Christianity are summarised into a special prayer called “The Apostles’ Creed”

RELIGIOUS BELIEF:

A creed sums up what all the followers of a religion believe.

Islam-the 6 articles of Faith (Beliefs in Allah, in Angels, in the Holy Books, in the Prophets, in the Day of Judgement and in Pre-Destination).

Christianity-the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed.

When people have a deep faith in God, they often feel they need to express it, to help honour God.
