To Accelerate or Not? Things to Consider• Self-discipline related to work completion, meeting

deadlines, and managing multiple homework tasks.

• Balance. Does a schedule with accelerated classes still allow time for important extracurricular activities?

• There are a number of opportunities at the secondary level to enter into advanced learning opportunities.

• Two year commitment. Review and think about 9th grade demands also: AP Human Geography; 2nd year Spanish; 10th grade Science.
