Newton’s 3rd law of motion

1.tape four rulers down. 2. tape five pennies together 3. set dimes in between rulers 4. flick the pennies into the dimes 5. measure with your rulers how far it went 6.write it down

Steps of experiment

Page 3: by: Cheyenne Hoseclaw, Cheyenne Mills, Tristan Hess, Jonah Bramel.

1st try: we started it at 6” in the first ruler and it went to 11” in the 2nd ruler .

2nd try: we started it at 6”on the first ruler and it went to 10” on the other ruler

3rd try: we started at 6” in the first ruler and it went to 8” in the 2nd ruler

Data and results

- each time we did it , it ended up at a different measure

- each time it ended up at a less measure

conclusions

Page 5: by: Cheyenne Hoseclaw, Cheyenne Mills, Tristan Hess, Jonah Bramel.

We believe that when we flick 5 dimes into 5 pennies will go 2 centimeter’s because they have less mass
