About usMANUCO develops, manufactures, commercializes and distributes all grades of energetic nitrocellulose, using either cotton linters (rolls or bales) or wood pulp (sulphite or sulphate) as the main raw material. Delivered from our Bergerac facility (France)
for the last 100 years, our quality products are used worldwide as the essential element for gun and rocket propellants (all calibers), combustible cases, smokeless powders, dynamite and many other special products.

History
MANUCO, a joint venture between EURENCO and MAXAM, was founded in 2005. However, we have to go back 100 years to find the first operations of nitration when the Bergerac site was chosen by the French Government as a suitable location for a gunpowder factory.
In 2004, Bergerac NC (SNPE Group) and MAXAM Group merged their technological and product expertise to become MANUCO in a modern and effective nitrocellulose plant.
For the last 10 years, our know-how and continuous improvement of the quality, safety and environmental processes, have allowed us to understand and meet our customer needs effectively. This is why MANUCO intends to become a world-class supplier for energetic nitrocellulose.

Product
With a portfolio of more than 50 references, our custom-made nitrocellulose is manufactured to meet any military or civil standards. Up to four main grades of energetic nitrocellulose can be distinguished:
• Gun cotton: GRADE B (CP1) with high nitrogen content more than 13.40%, but we are able to achieve more than 13.55%.
• Pyro cellulose: GRADE A Type I & II, GRADE D and GRADE E (CP2) with low nitrogen content below 12.75%.
• Blends of Gun cotton with Pyro cellulose: GRADE C Type I & Type II (CPMF).
• High viscosity CA2 for dynamite.
Our process is able to meet MIL-DTL 244 standards.

As for packaging our different solutions range from cardboard boxes (small, medium and big size) to drums (metallic or kraft), saving logistics costs and offering customers flexible opportunities for on-site handling.
