SUMMARY OF WIND PATTERN IN STUDY AREA
Wind Pattern during the Season
During the season the average winds from west (N) direction were observed for 19.07 % of the
total time, with wind speeds and the frequency in the range of 0-1.3 m/sec (18.94 %), 1.3-2.5
m/sec (0.12%). In W direction the winds were also observed for 11.94 % of the total time, with
wind speeds and the frequency in the range of 0-1.3 m/sec (8.28 %), 1.3-2.5 m/sec (3.51
%).The other direction and percentage frequencies were observed from W (8.76 %), NW
(7.18%), E (6.77%), ESE (6.08%).The calm conditions were observed to be for 0.0% of the total
time.

Wind Pattern during the season
During the period the average winds from N direction were observed for 13.19% of the total time,
with wind speeds and the frequency in the range of 0-1.3 m/sec (13.19 %), 1.3-2.5 m/sec (0.0%).
In WNW direction the winds were also observed for 11.46 % of the total time, with wind speeds and
the frequency in the range of 0-1.3 m/sec (9.72 %), 1.3-2.5 m/sec (1.74 %).The other direction
