    1. THE LOST THING - A boy discoveres a bizarre looking creature while out collection bottle

    tops at the beach. Relaising it is lost, he tries to find out who owns it or where it belongs,

    but is met with indifference from everyone else who barely notice its presence, each

    unwilling to entertain this uninvited interruption to their day to day lives. For reasons he

    does not explain, the boy empathises with the creature and sets out to find a place for it.

    2. BABEL - From the celestian mountains to the peak of Shanghai's towers: two young

    peasants have to leave their village to get to the metropolis.

    3. WHO LASTS LONGER - A dangerous childrens game will disrupt the lives of Ander and his

    family forever.

    4. DAISY CUTTER - Daisy Cutter tells the story of ten years old girl, Zaira, who (like many

    others) experiences the injustice of war, with the perspective that her tender and nave

    eyes allow her. Zaira gather daisies every day for a friend that she misses; so as not to

    forget him, so as not to lose him.5. AMAR - Ines travels to India to visit her friend Amar, who has been living in a mental

    institution for years. Ines remembers the last days they spant together and her promise to

    return.

    6. CLOUDS, HANDS - The hands of my father, the clouds of my mother, the yellow of flowers.

    7. ID - The story follows up a man who wakes up without any of senses. He does not have

    the eyes, eyes, ears, nose, skin He has polluted everything around himself so much that

    he feels nothing any more. All at once, he gets a chance to return to the gone, but

    8. YOU SHALL NOT LEAVE THE WAY! - Thoughtless acceptation of rules doesnt have to tent to

    the supposed aim.9. BIRDBOY- A terrible industrial accident changes little Dinki's life forever. Now Dinki's fate

    may ride on the wings of her eccentric friend Birdboy, a misfit who hides in a dead forest

    lost in his fantasies...

    10. THE HOUSE - The dream of the little girl is to care for her grandmother, but aunt and

    mother do not let her so. There is only one way out.

    11. LOSER LEG - Ive always had strong arms. They have to become such if you are born

    with lame legs, without bones.

    12. ADAPTATION - Short story about a chameleon who has lost the capacity to change his

    skin colors. Trying to blend in with his surroundings and escape the predators, he decidesto paint the surrounding background to his color

    13. MY KINGDOM COME - Victim and offender! Red for, violence and pain! Sexual male drive

    and the aggressive abuse contrast beatitudes. Again and again the female missionary

    appears in the red fog! Out of the fog! Into the action! Searching for true salvation

    Experiencing deep instinct and real holy pleasure besides good and evil! Women! Your

    savior is here!

    14. DAMNED - An over-ambitious beaver goes too far when he gets the chance to realize his

    ultimate dream. Some dreams are just too big.

    15. WHEN THE WIND TURNS - Felix sets off to find the place of his dreams. But wherever he

    goes something always disturbs his peace.

    16. THE SILENCE BENEATH THE BARK - In the depths of great forest clad in a great white

    mantile, curious little creatures discover how beautiful and fascinanting and white snow

    is as it whirls them giddily on their way to extraordinary encounters with the strange and

    wonderful. A nocturnal tale brimming with tenderness.

    Ann Marie Fleming is an artist, writer and independent Canadian filmmaker who works in a variety

    of different genres (animation, experimental, documentary and dramatic), and whose work often deals with themes

    of family, history and memory.She was born in Naha, Okinawa of an Australian father and a Sino-Austrian mother and lived briefly

    in Brisbane and Hong Kong before her family settled in Vancouver, B.C. in 1967. She studied classical flute from

    1970-82 and has an honours degree in English from the University of British Columbia, doing her thesis on

    Canadian dramatic mythmaking (1984). She received a bachelor of fine arts from the Open Learning Institute while

    getting an honours degree in animation from the Emily Carr College of Art & Design (1989). While there, she made

    two experimental films, Waving (1987) which won best experimental film at the B.C. Student Film Festival and You

    Take Care Now (1989) which also won at the B.C. Student Film Festival, the Canadian Student Film Festival in

    Montreal, and best short at the Toronto Festival of Festivals. She also has a M.F.A. from Simon Fraser University in

    Interdisciplinary Studies (1993), where she made Pioneers of X-Ray Technology.and has attended the Canadian

    Film Centre in

    Toronto (1992-93) and was invited to do a residency at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart (1996-97). She

    has taught at Chicagos School for the Arts Institute (1999) and co-founded the animation/live actioncommercial/film company, Global Mechanic, in Vancouver in 2000.

    Ann Marie currently sits on the advisory boards for the DOXA documentary film festival, the Ottawa

    Animation Film Festival, the Pacific International Animation Festival and Les Productions Figlio. She has given

    workshops and presentations on screenwriting, animation and the filmmaking process internationally, at festivals,

    film co-ops, universities and colleges, high schools and elementary schools in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Germany, Japan

    and across North America.
