PROCEDURE OF THE LESSON

I. Preparation for apprehension foreign speech

1. Greeting Warm up

Sing the song Open my lunch box

Put your hands on your hair .Say the word hair and write it on the blackboard

Hold the flashcards 110-115 and ask

Long or short hair?

Blond or brown hair ?

Curly or straight?

Repeat in different order.

II. The basic part of the lesson

1. Ask children to look at the different kinds of hair.2. Play the first part of the recording for the children to listen and point

to the pictures 3. Play the second part for the children to repeat.4. Play to listen and point then repeat the words.5. Hold up flashcards 110-115 for individual children to say the words.

2. Listen and chant CD103

Play the recording for children to listen to the chant

Play the chant againfor the children to say the words then repeat.

3. Listen and readCD104

Use Story poster 10 to present a story

Ask children to name as many things in the pictures as they can

Ask shildren to look at the poster while you play the recording .

Point to each speech bubbles as you hear the text

Ask children to open their SB and fallow the words in the story as you play the recording again
