INSTALLATION

Customer Information: The information in this installation instruction is intended for use only by skilled technicians who have the proper tools, equipment, and training to correctly and safely add equipment to your vehicle. These procedures should not be attempted by “do-it-yourselfers.”

1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.2. Open the glove box and remove the passenger's trim

panel. Close the glove box.

3. Remove the right console side cover.

5. Remove the driver’s door sill trim.

6. Pull away the door opening seal and remove the driver’s kick panel.

7. Lower and pull out the steering wheel as shown.

8. Apply masking tape to the upper column cover.

9. Connect the negative cable to the battery, then turn the ignition to ON. Turn the steering wheel 90° counterclockwise. Using a plastic trim tool, release the upper column cover.

10. Turn the steering wheel 180° clockwise. Using a
plastic trim tool, release the upper column cover.

11. Release the upper column cover and secure it to the dashboard with masking tape.

12. Remove the self-tapping screw from the lower column cover.

13. Turn the steering wheel 180° counterclockwise, and remove the other self-tapping screw from the lower column cover.

14. Remove the lower column cover.

15. Turn the ignition to OFF, then disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

16. Remove the driver’s inner dashboard trim and unplug the vehicle connector.

17. Remove the left console side cover.

18. Remove the rear console panel, and unplug the vehicle connector (if equipped).NOTE: Follow this procedure even if the rear console panel has a different shape.

19. Open the lid, and remove the cover. Close the lid.

If the vehicle is equipped with M/T, continue with step 20; if the vehicle is equipped with CVT, go to step 22; if the vehicle is equipped with A/T, go to step 27.

With M/T20. Release the shift lever boot, and remove the shift

lever knob as shown.

21. Open the armrest. Remove the console panel, and
unplug the vehicle connectors. Go to step 28.

With CVT22. Open the lid. Insert the key into the cover opening.

Push on the key, and move the shift lever to Drive.

23. Remove the key, and close the lid.


24. Apply masking tape to the shift lever knob.

26. Open the armrest. Remove the console panel, and unplug the vehicle connectors. Go to step 28.

31. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, thoroughly
clean the fuse case where fuse label A will attach. Attach fuse label A (5A WIRELESS CHARGER) to the fuse case on the wireless charger harness.

Clean with isopropyl alcohol.

32. Line up the branch section of the wireless charger harness with the vehicle clip. Secure the wireless charger harness to the vehicle harness with two wire ties.

33. Secure the fuse case to the vehicle connectors.

If the vehicle is equipped with the accessory automatic day/night mirror, go to step 36; if the vehicle is equipped with another accessory, go to step 41; otherwise, continue with step 34.

35. Secure the wireless charger harness 6-pin connector to the vehicle harness with one wire tie as shown. Go to step 44.

37. Secure the wireless charger harness 6-pin connector to the vehicle harness with one wire tie as shown.


38. Unplug the accessory automatic day/night mirror
harness 6-pin connector, and plug the wireless charger harness 6-pin connector into the vehicle 6-pin connector.

39. Remove the dummy connector from the wireless charger harness 6-pin connector. Plug the accessory automatic day/night mirror harness 6-pin connector into that connector.

40. Secure the accessory automatic day/night mirror harness 6-pin connector to the wireless charger harness 6-pin connector. Go to step 44.


With another accessory41. Secure the wireless charger harness 6-pin

connector to the vehicle harness with one wire tie as shown.

42. Unplug the other accessory harness 6-pin connector, and plug the wireless charger harness 6-pin connector into the vehicle 6-pin connector.

43. Remove the dummy connector from the wireless charger harness 6-pin connector. Plug the other accessory harness 6-pin connector into that connector.

If the vehicle is equipped with another accessory harness 4-pin connector, go to step 45; otherwise, continue with step 44.
Without other accessory harness 4-pin connector44. Plug the wireless charger harness 4-pin connector

into the fuse box. Go to step 46.

With another accessory harness 4-pin connector45. Unplug the other accessory harness 4-pin

connector, and plug the wireless charger harness 4-pin connector into the fuse box. Remove the dummy connector from the wireless charger harness 4-pin connector, and plug the other accessory harness 4-pin connector into that connector.

46. Route the wireless charger harness. Secure the
wireless charger harness 12-pin connector to the fuse box.

47. Secure the wireless charger harness to the vehicle harness with one wire tie.


48. Route the wireless charger harness. Line up the white tape on the wireless charger harness with the projection of the vehicle bracket, and secure the wireless charger harness to the vehicle bracket with one wire tie as shown.

If the vehicle is equipped with another accessory harness, go to step 50; otherwise, continue with step 49.
Without other accessory harness49. Route the wireless charger harness. Attach one wire

tie with clip A around the white tape on the wireless charger harness as shown. Secure the wireless charger harness to the vehicle bracket with one wire tie with clip A. Go to step 52.

With another accessory harness50. Route the wireless charger harness. Using diagonal

cutters, cut the clip portion off of one wire tie with clip A.

51. Line up the white tape on the wireless charger harness with the other accessory clip, and secure the wireless charger harness to the other accessory harness with one wire tie with clip A as shown.


52. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, thoroughly
clean the knee airbag where the aluminum tape will attach.

53. Using scissors, cut one piece of aluminum tape in half and secure the wireless charger harness to the knee airbag with two pieces of aluminum tape as shown. If the vehicle is already equipped with another accessory harness, secure the wireless charger harness to the knee airbag with two pieces of aluminum tape as shown.


If the vehicle is equipped with the vehicle harness, go to step 55; otherwise, continue with step 54.

Without vehicle harness54. Route the wireless charger harness. Attach one wire

tie with clip B around the white tape on the wireless charger harness as shown. Secure the wireless charger harness to the vehicle panel with one wire tie with clip B. Go to step 57.

56. Line up the white tape on the wireless charger harness with the vehicle clip, and secure the wireless charger harness to the vehicle harness with one wire tie with clip B as shown.

57. Secure the wireless charger harness to the vehicle harness with four wire ties.

58. Remove the vehicle ground bolt, and secure the wireless charger harness ground terminal to the vehicle ground terminals with vehicle ground bolt. Do not put the ground terminal calkings on top of one another.

59. Secure the wireless charger harness to the vehicle
harness with one wire tie.

69. Install the wireless charger unit in the new center
pocket with two retaining tabs and four self-tapping screws.

70. Install the right side panel and left side panel. Plug the wireless charger harness 7-pin connector to the wireless charger unit.

71. Install the new center pocket with four self-tapping screws removed in step 28.


72. Plug the 20A fuse into the fuse box.
NOTE: If a 20A fuse is already installed in the fuse box as shown, go to step 74; otherwise, plug the 20A fuse into the fuse box.

73. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, thoroughly clean the fuse label where the fuse label B will attach. Attach the fuse label B (20A OPTION FUSE) to the fuse label on the driver’s kick panel as shown.

74. Check that all wire harnesses are routed properly and all connectors are plugged in.

75. Install all removed parts.76. Connect the negative cable to the battery.77. Press and hold the audio unit power button for 2

seconds to restore the audio and navi (if equipped) system functions.

78. Set the clock on vehicles without navigation.

Check the Operation of the Wireless Charger79. Make sure the wireless charger works properly as

described in the accessory user’s information manual with this kit.
