Chatting Spot provides a college/school controlled messaging system which can provide students with benefits of anonymous private or public chat room messaging restricted to the campus area. Whilst the Chatting spot system

provides all the benefits of anonymous chatting each system has an ADMIN override so that school admininistrators can temporarily halt

inappropriate use of the system through secure local access to on campus Chatting Spot server

which is not connected to the internet.

outside the campus cannot gain access to the

network

Students can message each other in a public chat room or privately

one-on-one privately and anonymously

If students abuse the system by sending inappropriate messages the school

system administrator can shut down student access to the Chatting Spot

system and appeal for the culprits to be identified before student access is

restored

Chatting Spot school/college wide Wi-Fi system is independent of the Internet and so cannot be hacked. In the event of a

school incident students select Chatting Spot on their SMART Phone Wi-Fi and are safe in the knowledge that only the school

administrator has control of the School/College Wi-Fi system and therefore messages broadcast are genuine.

Students who receive cellular text messages about lockdown or other school events can check on the Chatting Spot school Wi-Fi

for authenticated broadcast message from the school administration.
