Door Objects

• In Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2006, Door objects are totally customizable.

• Whether it be the size and shape of the door, the size and shape of the jamb, whether it has side lights, or mullions, or whether it has a sill, all is possible in this program.


Door Objects

• As with other features of this program, a pre-made library of Door styles greatly enhances productivity.

• Hopefully, manufacturers will jump on the AAD bandwagon and place their door styles on the Web.

• If they do this, you will be able to quickly "idrop" or update your catalogs with pre-made doors and door accessories.

• If this happens and the manufacturer makes changes, you will be able to update your catalogs and drawings automatically directly from the Internet.
