FUTUREMEDCapitalisation and long lasting

effectsWP3

The dissemination and capitalisation strategies are crucial for any project or activity and provides a framework for ensuring that information is shared with the appropriate audience on a timely basis and by the most effective means.

Within capitalization, key stakeholders transform individual and institutional experience and knowledge into capital that can be used in future.

Introduction

Work Package 3 is made of 2 different phases

Deliverables:FUTUREMED capitalisation strategy FUTUREMED capitalisation reports (x2)

Phase 3.1 is made of 4 deliverables

FUTUREMED will build its capitalisation approach on its strong networking capacity involving associated partners and links to various relevant networks.

Enlargement of FUTUREMED stakeholders with actors from public and private sectors also from third countries (Morocco for example) for extended awareness/familiarisation.

Cross-fertilization with relevant projects in exchanging experiences and promoting its solution (joint technical events and e-forum) + in relation with the JTS team, presentation of FUTUREMED results to major EU programmes events.

Deliverables:FUTUREMED user-friendly capitalisation platform FUTUREMED recommendations

Phase 3.1 is made of 4 deliverables

Design and exploitation of the FUTUREMED Capitalisation platform as an active promotion tool for dynamic interaction with external parties maintained beyond the lifespan of the project

Provision of practical recommendations based on project’s results.

Phase 3.2 is made of 5 deliverables

Deliverables:Drawing of the legal and institutional profile of the ObservatoryDrawing of graphical identity based on FUTUREMED layout Observatory meetings (10)Observatory workshops (3)Observatory reports

In order to achieve long lasting effects after the project a sort of Permanent Observatory on the main results of the projects (e.g. policies, plans, pilot projects, and agreements) will be setup the last year of the project and will support the updating of the project results after its end.

Aims:

1. Follow the FUTUREMED results, measure their impact (internal and external evaluators)

2. Update the outputs taking into account the changes in the political, regulatory and economic environments and in technologies (Innovations…)

The observatory members will support the updating of the results and maintenance of the capitalisation platform.

What do we mean by permanent observatory?

Permanent = sustainable, with no time limit

Observatory= group of stakeholders with relevant skills to handle the thematic proposed

The Observatory will be open :

• to new actors interested in the project outputs (consequence of the dissemination activities)

• with no time limit, as long as the outputs remain of interest for the actors involved in the Observatory.

The FUTUREMED Observatory

In the first year, the observatory activities will be financed by the project. • Drawing of the legal and institutional profile of the Observatory (lawyer advice

needed)• Drawing and implementation of the Observatory governance• Member travel and allowances will be supported by FUTUREMED. • Publication of reports on the topics tackled during the observatory workshops and

meetings

In order to ensure the financial sustainability of the observatory after the project ends, different channels will be used:

• Observatory meetings will be hosted at member facilities• e-conference will be organised • Observatory workshops can be organised within other event conferences• Contributions from the members (fee)
