Midwest Wireless is deploying broadband Internet service in several rural communities with the help of a grant from the Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development (DTED).

Technology enables the link between the Access Unit (the tower) and Customer Premise Equipment of speeds 20 times faster then the FHSS 2.4 GHz existing technology.
